SUGAR DADDY AWARENESS

Empowering 8th Grade Girls:
Introducing 'Sugar Daddy Awareness Program' (SDAP) through Power Girl Initiative
Welcome to the Power Girl Initiative, where we are dedicated to empowering 8th grade girls through education and awareness. Our mission is clear: to equip young girls with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions and protect themselves from exploitation, particularly in relation to sugar daddy relationships.

Understanding the Need
In today's world, young girls face unprecedented challenges, including the risks associated with sugar daddy relationships. These relationships can undermine their well-being and educational outcomes. Recognizing this, the Sugar Daddy Awareness Program aims to intervene early, providing crucial education that fosters resilience and empowers girls to navigate healthy relationship dynamics.
Program Highlights
Interactive Workshops: Tailored for 8th grade classrooms, our workshops engage girls in meaningful discussions about the dangers of sugar daddy relationships and the importance of setting boundaries. Led by trained educators, these sessions encourage open dialogue and equip girls with practical strategies to protect themselves.
Educational Materials: Complementing our workshops, we have developed age-appropriate materials such as leaflets and posters. These resources reinforce workshop content and serve as valuable takeaways for ongoing learning both in school and at home.
Engaging Parents and Guardians: We understand the pivotal role parents and guardians play in supporting their children. That's why we conduct informational sessions to raise awareness among adults, fostering environments that encourage dialogue and proactive support for girls' well-being.
Overcoming Barriers
We acknowledge the challenges in addressing sensitive topics like exploitation and sexuality. Our approach includes training school counselors and educators to deliver workshops sensitively and effectively. Additionally, by partnering closely with schools, we integrate our program into the 8th grade curriculum, ensuring consistent exposure and engagement.
Measuring Impact
Our pilot program aims to demonstrate the efficacy of our approach. Over the next year, we anticipate reaching 600 8th grade girls through 30 workshops. By equipping these girls with knowledge and skills, we aim to reduce the initiation of sugar daddy relationships by 50%, safeguarding their educational outcomes and overall well-being.
